A 56-year-old Caucasian woman presented to the dermatology clinic complaining of a rash on both of her legs that had become increasingly erythematous over the past six months. Other than an intermittent slight burning sensation, there were no other associated symptoms reported. Recently diagnosed with hypothyroidism, the patient described herself as "cold-natured" and always kept a small electric heater under her desk at work. Examination of her legs revealed a netlike erythema with some hyperpigmentation on both lower legs.
