During that time, the lesions had been slowly expanding, and her daughter found them “disgusting.” According to the patient, the precipitating factor was an episode of poison ivy that involved her eyelids four summers ago. The patient denied any medical problems except for an assortment of bowel surgeries and recurrent UTIs treated with antibiotics. She had no history of abnormal cholesterol or triglyceride levels.
