Rotor Syndrome

At a Glance

Rotor syndrome is a genetic disorder of bilirubin elevation.

What Tests Should I Request to Confirm My Clinical Dx? In addition, what follow-up tests might be useful?

  • Elevated total bilirubin

  • Elevated direct bilirubin

  • No evidence of biliary tract obstructive disease process

  • Normal levels of AST, ALT, GGT and alkaline phosphatase; in pure ROTOR syndrome without secondary processes occurring, they should not be affected.
