Vaginal infections:

Indications for: CLEOCIN VAGINAL OVULES

Bacterial vaginosis.

Adult Dosage:

Nonpregnant: 1 supp intravaginally at bedtime for 3 days.

Children Dosage:

Pre-menarchal: not established.

CLEOCIN VAGINAL OVULES Contraindications:

History of enteritis or colitis.

CLEOCIN VAGINAL OVULES Warnings/Precautions:

Monitor for pseudomembranous colitis. Advise patients to not use contraceptive diaphragm or condom for at least 72hrs after treatment. Advise patients to not have vaginal intercourse or use tampons or douches during treatment with ovules. Pregnancy. Nursing mothers: monitor infant or consider alternatives.
