Ocular infections:

Indications for: GENTAK

Susceptible bacterial infections including conjunctivitis, keratitis, keratoconjunctivitis, corneal ulcers, blepharitis, blepharonconjunctivitis, acute meibomianitis, and dacryocystitis.

Adults and Children:

Apply a small amount (½ inch) of ointment to the affected eye(s) 2–3 times daily.

GENTAK Warnings/Precautions:

Discontinue if purulent discharge, inflammation or pain develops. May retard corneal healing. Neonates. Pregnancy (Cat.C).

Ocular burning, irritation, non-specific conjunctivitis, conjunctival epithelial defects or hyperemia; superinfection; rare: allergic reactions, thrombocytopenic purpura, hallucinations.
