Case 1

A 14-year-old girl is brought to the clinic by her mother for evaluation of a rash on her face and back. On physical examination, she has open and closed comedones with scattered erythematous papules and mild scarring. Her skin feels oily to the touch. The patient has no other relevant medical or social history.  She has not tried any treatment regimes.
