A 29-year-old woman complained of a pruritic rash that had appeared approxmately one month ago. Erythematous, irregularly shaped plaques were seen on her forehead, forearms, chest, abdomen, and ankles. No pustules, vesicles, scale, or crust was present. There were no other significant nail, skin, scalp, or oral findings. Symptoms, which were worse with heat and sweat, improved on weekends and during vacation periods. Triamcinolone cream 1% and calamine lotion had yielded minimal benefit.
