A 10-year-old black male presented with white patches in his forelock and on his forehead as well as extensive involvement on his trunk and legs. Islands of normal pigmentation and some hyperpigmentation were noted within the achromic areas of his abdomen and lower extremities. All sites had remained constant in coloration and proportion since birth and were asymptomatic. The boy’s father and grandmother had similar pigmentary problems that had remained static throughout their lives.
