The patient was a 50-year-old Caucasian man who presented to the dermatology clinic for evaluation of a lesion that had first appeared on his penis several months ago. Examination revealed a poorly demarcated, 2×1-cm, white-to-opaque plaque on the glans penis with mild erythema of the foreskin. The lesion did not itch or burn, and the patient did not complain of other symptoms. No similar lesions were observed elsewhere on his body.
