An 18-year-old high school wrestler presented with recent onset of itchy, small blisters on the feet. His mother had given him some hydrocortisone cream, which seemed to help at first. He also briefly tried an OTC antifungal and topical herpes medication, without resolution. During the examination, I noted that his socks were moist. When questioned about his usual footwear, he said he preferred wearing leather tennis shoes throughout the day.
