WASHINGTON, D.C., Jan. 28, 2015 /PRNewswire/ — A newly released survey, Cervical Cancer Today: A National Survey of Attitudes and Behaviors, paints a picture of women and their health-care providers as resistant to changes in one of the most successful cancer prevention programs in U.S. history: cervical cancer screening.
The survey, conducted jointly by the National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s Health (NPWH) and HealthyWomen (HW), explored the attitudes and decisions in the exam room of more than 2,000 women and 750 healthcare providers nationwide.
