A 4-year-old boy presents with an 8-month history of a slow-growing submandibular mass. His mother mentions that she was unable to get care in their home country, and they have been in the process of immigrating during the past year. Further history reveals that he has felt feverish nearly every day and has been waking up at night with wet bedsheets. On examination, the mass is approximately 8 cm × 5 cm in size, non-tender, firm, and slightly mobile. An excisional lymph node biopsy demonstrates mixed cellularity including Reed-Sternberg cells.
